unicorns. I'll replace these pics with some better scans later. In the meantime, enjoy their majesty.

I live across from a gas station. Took this photo today. Can you tell which car is not like the others?

Seems sort of silly. For all the cost of a lamborghini, I'd want a color that didn't blend in so well.

here's a trailer for Shark Suit: the Musical. Currently shipping it off to festivals, but you can get a short peek here.

The compression isn't too kind. Forgive me?

a sleep drawing that's been on my radiator for weeks. finally painted the thing. I don't remember too much from this one, except that after drawing it I had an extremely epic dream about seeing ancient ruins in paris. There were a four-story fountains with horse statues and leaning temples.

Oh yeah--ratatouille is amazing. I have a laundry list of reasons why, but I figure anyone who's seen it has thier own.

Hey dudes. More posts are on the way. I've been in LA for the week, where "bigfoot's eulogy" was screened at the director's guild of america alongside some amazing nyu shorts. Fun times.

But I lost my paint set that I've had for about 6 years now. It's a small and white plastic, winsor newton watercolor tray with lid. If anyone can find it for me in LA, I'll gladly pay any reward or ransom.

At least I didn't lose my sketchbook along with the paints, I guess.

my brother is hiking the Appalachian trail. Yesterday I received his mustache in the mail. He sent it to me. Thought about scanning it, but I'm not sure who's really interested in seeing a wad of hair.

here are some sleep drawings instead. I don't remember what these are. While I was drawing them, I was in the process of falling asleep. No lights, no looking until morning.

some underused charaters alex and I came up with a long while ago. for a comic strip. sven, a german goth-band drummer. And his cousin, a cyclops from denmark. Come to think of it, sounds much like the tv series "perfect strangers."

A friend of mine asked me to build him a giant ear for a film he was making. I made the ear, but he ended up not making the film. So here's my big ear.

Now that school's pretty much out, I'd like to make more giant stuff. Perhaps a nose. And maybe a series of strange decorative helmets.

Chicken cowboy.

Shark Suit screened yesterday, getting some nice reactions. A few people have been asking what's next. Here are a few scribbles for my senoir project. I hope to develop this character through the summer, exploring his history, personality, and environment. This is the part I love.

The designs will probably change radically, but I want to keep the texture and feeling similar to these two pieces. I've got a couple major scenes in mind. You can expect action, romance, and some weirdness. With any luck I'll have something finished in under a year, but I've got a couple other film ideas, too.

I'll just call this project chicken cowboy for now.

Yes. It's that time of year again.

Shark Suit: the Musical will be screening. Then on to festivals. Hopefully.

If you're wondering, that in the poster lego guy is from an awesome film in the showcase by david pagano (www.paganomation.com). Cause he's my pal, he also did a Little Guys Shark Suit figure. I hold it dear to my heart.

And here's some more from my sketchbook. My room, part 2.
