i did this way back when last year for a friend's live action short. it's amazing what you'll find on old usb drives.  best viewed on loop.

as a child I loved watching raiders of the lost ark.  but that end--jeez.  terrifying.  i think i still have the occasional face melting dream to this day.

I'm making a new short called come have an omelette with me.

it's nothing too fancy. Only about a minute long, so it's more of a short short than a short. mostly it's a collection of 2d cycles set to this song i made.  

Nothing special, but it's a way for me to stay busy before I gear up on the next, larger personal short (or maybe I'll make a couple smaller ones).  it should be done soon.

First festival news--Chicken Cowboy will be screening at the New Hampshire Film Festival held October 16-19th. In other news, Shark Suit: the Musical will be screening at HBO on October 16th.

Hi everyone. So here's "mickey," the first in a new series of short shorts I'm hoping to animate every now and then. This one is an animated phone message from my mom in which she tells me it's time to put my childhood dog to sleep.



Simple, to the point, expressive, and short. That's what I'm going for with these.

A little depressing, but it was fun to quickly animate, paint & composite something. Expect it up to see in the next couple of weeks.

These are some quick backgrounds for a new mini-short I'm working on about my dead dog. It's the first of three under one-minute shorts I'm hoping to have done by May.



It's always fun making a 5-6 minute short, but I definitely want to explore this micro format more, concentrating on the idea and design rather than the huge, often bloated production process. Not that chicken cowboy hasn't been fun--this is just a break.

Plus, they're youtube friendly.
